I want to start building my hydro assist stuff on my yota and I know I can get all the PSC stuff shipped to my door for less than $200. But Id really like to build my own stuff and I can get lines locally or build my own lines. My box is already tapped for hydro so that's not an issue. So I guess I am asking where do you folks buy your hydro rams and stuff??

Re: Re: Best place to buy hydro parts?

Surplus center.com for rams.

Discount hydraulic hose.com for field service line and fittings

Summit racing for steering box and pump adapters

Local IRG for some random stuff that I don't buy a lot of.

Re: Re: Best place to buy hydro parts?

That will work. You'll probably need to limit the throw on the ram. I use 2 piece shaft lock collars on the shaft.

How much throw are you using with yours? Im still running a yota front housing, dirty 30s, stock knuckles with arp's on the hubs and steering with ifs hubs and sky high steer.

Re: Re: Best place to buy hydro parts?

All of the hi steer setups I've done needed about 5-5.5" of throw.

My low steer quad arm full hydro setup uses 7.5"

The histeer arms are shorter, so they need less throw.

hit up 4x4rockshop.com great guys to deal with thats where i ordered all my stuff on my buggy one piece at a time
