Well some of you already now I picked up a toyota about 8months ago. I took it out a couple of times only to have constant wiring issues, battery issues, and tranny issues. So I decided I would pretty much completly redo the whole thing!!!

I started with a 1980 toyota 4x4 flatbed, it had a 4in pro comp lift, 3in body, 35in baha claws on ungodly wide rims, the :rb: brushgaurd ever, and the most hideous rats nest of wires I have ever seen:rolleyes:

So here are the plans:
3/4 ton 44 up front
dana 60 rear
4.7s in the t-case
redo all the wiring to bare bones minimum
Crossover with hydro assist
hybrid leafs up front
bucket seats
pull the 3in body for a 1in
new bumper
OBA
new 22gallon fuel tank
Add some sweet graphics

I'm sure I'm missing something but that about sums it up:beer:

I literally started this about 6months ago, then immediatly lost my job so money has been tight. But I'm back on my feet and back on this full force:awesomework:

Well here is what I started with. . . I will slowly post all 150pics I have already:haha:

So i didn't want to go full width since I have to drive this thing to the trails, but I wanted alittle extra width for the stability!!!

So I started with a fullsize chevy 3/4 44 I then cut all the brackets off and slowly cut and groun the welds to remove the C's. This was my first time doing this but all in all it turned out perfect:cool:

Damn... That means I'll have to buy a set of 14's to put DIY beadlocks on....

The flat bed doesn't look too bad, got any better pics of it?

I later found my passenger side rocker was completly torn and then bondo slapped over it. So alittle welding and grinding got it back together:D I also found my passenger inner fender well to be completly torn off from the radiator support, so I welded it up and primered it!!!

Last pic is of the motor currently(2 weeks ago) all freshly tuned up:cool:

Then I decided to pull the bench seat out and start on the interior.

I decided this was a good time to pull my rats nest wiring harness out and lightly the mass a wee bit. . . . I also made a little diamond plate switch panel that I will be installing.

I'm gonna be running 36in Iroks on a 16in with DIY beadlocks, so I went and mounted the tires on my old rims. . . Since I have to take them and have them remounted on my 8 luggers later on I just wanted to get ride hieght figured out. Also went and picked up my new t-case with the 4.7's in it!!!! I'm just waiting on my twin sticks from marlin and its going back in:cheer:

So next thing was to get the bed setup for the gas tank, and the OBA tanks and pump. . . I dont know if I like how the tanks are so they might get moved inbetween the frame rails but I'm not sure yet.

I also made switch pod or whatever you want to call it. . . I'm gonna have a total of 6 toggles along with a kill switch, and a push start. Turned out pretty good, I bent a piece around so I can mount my push start tucked under the dash, so its not hanging out saying " START ME, WHEEL ME" to anybody that might be around . . . .
