You can pull the fitting out of the Trans case and run a barbed fitting instead.

Or you can cut the ends of factory lines off, flare them and run hose clamps

I dont have any of the factory fittings when I bought the trans they had been pulled and had those little plastic plugs in them. I wish I had stubs so I knew what I was looking for.
 
the rear line has a long extension on it to go inside the tranny about an inch or so.
i would use the factory quick connects and and then use a compression fitting to go to what ever line from there
