checking a head for cracks

Is there some kind of spray that you can use to check a head for cracks at home instead of sending it out?

This might work but I'd take it and get it checked right. Removing heads suck

Well now I am not sure I am going to need to. It was on my daughters librity. Now she is talking about just selling it (like I told her to do in the first place) because it is going to cost her some much just to get it running. Even without a crack head.
I told her to sell it and go buy a real jeep with straight axles and a frame. lol
