We had a group ride there this past weekend. The trails within the park seem to be mostly fire roads that have some very steep sections with loose rock and a ton of steep, tight switchbacks. Was bone dry this weekend but it will be sketchy AF when its wet. Scenery is great with a few areas that have phenomenal views. Saw some cool trails leading off the park property that were marked as private property, but being unfamiliar with the area, not sure where they went or how hard they were and who owns the property. Some of the creek bed trails were fun, but nothing super difficult. Most trails were marked with numbers but the trail map doesnt have trail numbers on it. Could see the trails being completely different this time next year after they get dug out by traffic. Had a couple trucks get some pretty good body damage from one of the trails being super narrow. FWIW, i was in a 1st gen tacoma on 33s with f/r lockers and didnt have any issue and only had to use lockers a handful of times, mostly to make getting up a few loose steep hills easier. Also had a razer and couple buggies with 40s. Campground was nice, and aside from some a**holes ripping through the campground on razers blasting music at 3am, we didnt have any problems. Not sure if we will go back next year, but if we do, I'd like to get a better map/info on some of those trails that go off the park.
