I have a doubler adapter that has the figure 8 pattern for the 205. My 205 has a round pattern and won't bolt up. I know I can take another 205 with a figure 8 pattern and machine out the input for the large bearing 400 input. But heres my question is it possible to drill and tap the front face of the round pattern 205 to the figure 8 pattern. I'm probably not getting my point across. Appreciate any help if it's understandable.

i would find a figure 8 t case,, should be easy enough and maybe quicker,, if your close to topeka ks i might be able to help out

you would be better off selling the round pattern 205 in the classifieds here, they are much more sought after than the figure 8 pattern.

I've got a couple of each 205's. Just hated to have to rob the big bearing/ 32 spline input to install in a 4 speed or 350 turbo type 205. Thanks for the ideas. I'll probably just machine one for the bigger bearing.
