Summit, I think they have total overhaul kits for std v-8's.

or if you are having the motor machined, the machine shop can usually get you a screaming deal on kits

Screaming deal? I don't know about that. You usually have to watch them, they try to make money just like everyone else, and you have to watch brands too. They usually can work a good deal with you if you shop around.

well i told them i was on a limited budget as it was a senior project so i got a good deal i know that

you cant beat PAW (performance automotive wharehouse) for price on all kits and rebuilder supplies. speedway motors is another thats real cheap for rebuilder parts (claimer engine suppliers)
