Were is this park ? Is there a website or ayn info because I havent heard of it or maybe Im just dumb this AM... :dunno:

Its in Viola TN. About 20min from Manchester TN. It's where EOR has held the 2 rock races. LOTS AND LOTS of rocks. Then there is even more rocks.

So why closed untill further notice? Should we be concerned about losing another place to wheel?

Yeah I was wondering why it was closed until further notice also? Is EOR not doing the Masters Rock Race again this year?

Yes they are still doing the Masters. Marvin told me that it is just eating to much time. He sets and waits on people to show up to ride, but week after week no one comes or 2-3 show up. If he is not there to collect the money then they take it as a free ride day. He has said time and time again he has no plans on raising prices. Its $10 for rig and driver, $5 for riders and spectators. But I guess if its closed he dont have to worry about raising prices. It was just wierd how all the people around here jumped on the band wagon to get WITC and gold mountain opened back up but not but a few people even think about going to Mayhem.

We looked at Mayhem before for a club trip and the problem is that it was further away than a day trip but there is just no place to stay around it and it is a long way off the interstate. I would love to come ride the place, maybe we can get a club trip up to hit it this year. I plan to attend Masters for sure, I have heard the rocks up there are nasty!

He has free camping and its about 20mins from the interstate and motels. You could just about leave your rigs there and drive to the motel.

THANKS guys for the input.We will be closed after Feb. 22 due to personal reasons (NEW BABY)and to make some changes to accommodate my growing family . We will be OPENING back up for the whole month of April ( week ends only) and for the MASTER OF MAYHEM III ROCK RACE . Race date is April 11.

Well if the case is he has to wait on people to take up the money then maybe hey could charge a yearly fee to the ones that frequent the park so he doesn't have to be there as much. Don't know how this would work for him but at least he wouldn't be closing down.
