First attempt at building a little something.......

I guess you guys are a bit gentler than them folks on Pirate...........This is the first time I am attempoting something like this. I will post the start and current, if y'all are interested I can fill in the middle. There is still a bunch of bracing/door bars/engine cage-front hoops to do. i am open to suggestions.

I am building this in my 2 car garage, and have to move the bosslady's Roush when I work on it .

Parts list:

TK1 Racing 16" coilovers
44" TSLs
2.5 Rocks (Grizzly locker front/welded rear)
350 on Propane
Sm465/twinsticked 205
Twisted Stitch seats
2"x.250" links. All 8 links the same length (1.25" lower joints, 7/8" uppers)


Sure I am forgetting some stuff. Ask if you want to know.

Oh, 122" WB, 23" Belly, around 78" roof.

Does your pinion angle move alot when you flex it out?I ask because most of the time to get the geometry right the uppers are 70% of the lowers.but if this is your first build your doing great looks good, nice bar work

The links are dang near equal length.........and at ride height, they are dang near parrallel.

On top of that, being Rockwells, the pinion is so high up that the front shaft has very little angle at ride height

That being said, it does not move much

Buddy with a plasma table. They are similar to the ones a couple of other vendors make.

I like straight shifts. And if you put the aluminum late model cover on your 465.........holy smokes, sucker shifts like a dream. Still won't shift real fast, but the stroke is super short.
