Hale mountain

Who all's seen that Hale mountain is closing after yhe first of the year ? It's posted on there web site. Hate to see this happen it's a dang good park to ride at.

with the loss of the owners son (who ran the park for her and worked on the trails) it has been a struggle for her to keep it open. she will still host big rides and such but as far as being open the 2nd and 4th weekend will no longer be.

I will be in touch with her about maybe getting some volunteers for trail maintenance and or manning the gate for big rides.

Was up there this past weekend. What Xjcrawler said is true. They are still doing big rides throughout the year. They are also open to do rentals for semi-private rides.

Great folks, not closing but changing the way they operate a little bit.

David, I'd be willing to help out any way I can.

That's a great park with great people who run it. I understand their situation. I'd hate to see it closed for good.

This sucks but I understand completely... I wish I had more free time and the will to get back into riding.
