Hammers style race

Wanting to put a hammers style race on here local at Wilborns off road park in hanceville Al,Ive already got a $1000 dollars for the winner.Looking at running one class (4x4 run what you brung and hope you brung enough)The course would consist of a 3-5 mile loop with a variety of terrain,slow, fast,technical etc.Just wondering what some of you thought and would many people be interested in this style of race

I have no idea how much it will cost to bring 130 miles of desert to Alabama, but, having never run in the desert, you build it, I will run it.

Maybe I sould have said cross country instead of hammers style,or maybe hammers style without the desert,anyway it will be a race for $1000 winner take all.Iam trying figure a date that dont conflict with any other local event

Most likely the entry fee will be $25-$50 dollars,Iam working on getting the $1000 dollars guaranteed up front regardless of the # of entries.We should have plenty of entrys,but people tend to travel knowing the prize money is gauranteed,Still working on a date

Sounds fun.. don't really believe i have a shot at winning, but would be fun to compete.... some bull**** prizes for 2nd thru say 5th would be nice... t-shirts, park passes, etc...
because honestly,you're going to have full on xrra/hammers rigs racing stock xj's.... not a problem, but a few smaller prizes would be nice... just my $0.02
