i bought a few orbital valves at an auction awhile back but cant find any info on them. They are new and the tag reads "Sauer danfoss Ospc 150 on 150 N2081" Was curious if these are what is needed for hyd steering

I was bored so I looked around and the closest reference I could find was an OSPC 160ON...the 160 or 150 in your case refers to the stroke volume...

How old are these units? Curious if they're old enough that they've been replaced by different models because all I see are 80, 100, 125, 160, etc. Most of them have 150 in the part number, but I don't see anything with a "2081" designation either. I did find a post on Pirate about the exact number you listed being off of a toyota forklift (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/general-4x4-discussion/1059919-orbital-valve-help-sauer-danfoss-ospc150.html) so you might try contacting a toyota lift truck dealer and see if they can give you the specs on it.

I also read somewhere that you'd want a 100-125 displacement to work well with a 2" ram with an 8" stroke.
