Jeep tj roll cage

looking for options going to build roll cage for my tj. Go through dash or use dash side pieces to build off of? Add to stock sport cage or build all new?

I vote remove stock dash + full cage w/ new dash built in.

100% trail rig or street too?
What about stanchions at the dash and full cage build off those? Just make sure you door surrounds and top fit onto it.

When we built mine I used the stanchions from Poison Spyder. We did build it to fit a top then I never ran one again. Let me see if I can dig up the old build thread.

Have been debating on starting a thread or not but finally figured i would since we are all nice here now. Started in 2007 went riding in Tellico with a guy my dad works with 3 weeks later i bought my TJ. When i picked it up she was purdy, never seen anything but the mall. She sat on 33's and...

Mostly off road but some street driving. I've been debating doing stanchions but wasn't sure how strong they are
