Good morning all. I’m new to the site. Just thought I would introduce myself on here. I just picked up crawler jeep and looking for some good info along the way. From trails to upgrades.
I’ve only taken my Jeep out once but got some big plans as my backyard stomping ground is only 65 miles away @ Johnson valley home of the King of Hammers.
Thanks again

Welcome to the site and jealous of your proximity to Johnson Valley.

For the first picture of the Jeep on a trailer. was that the parking area at Wild West Motorsports/Ultra4 Nationals in Reno or somewhere else?

Welcome to the site! Glad to have you - I like your rig. I would love to go riding out west - the desert looks fun, and usually not muddy.

Yep. Actually was. I bought the Jeep from a guy up in Reno And my brother lives in Carson City Nevada. My brother pick the jeep up for me on his way to that race event. He stored the jeep for a few weeks for me until I can arrange to get it transported down to Southern California.
It’s new home is now Orange County CA.

Ya my nephews and go to cougar Buttes and camp there all the time. Usually have a pretty secluded camp spot. I’m sure I will end up out there a few times with the jeep as it’s pretty much right on the other side of Johnson Valley

The previous owner of this jeep did the Rubicon and Fordyce trail and moon rocks along with king of hammers, all comp lines and said the Jeep works well. It will definitely be a new driving curve for me but with enough seat time and good friends that are already into crawling I should be good.
