We wired in 4 overhead LED's measuring 2'x1' that are rated @ 18,000 lumens and only draw like 0.5 amp each on 110 volt. They are a lot brighter than we were expecting and we can wire them on 220 and have more lumen output if we wanted 8)

Those lights look pretty good. I'm still on the fence about what to get. I'm thinking about just putting 6 standard outlets in the ceiling where lights will be, and just buy 6 of the basic 4' led's that Lowes sells. When they go out, throw away, buy and hang another and only be out $40-50ish. Had em in my old shop and in our garage on our house now and they are bright enough for what I need.

Liner panels hung, commercial gutters hung (not pictured), almost done with the garage doors. Never seen insulated panel doors that looked like this on the outside, but I think they look good. Coming together nicely.

JD I would look into the Hyperlite LED high bay lights, I bought 2 of the round ones to put under my 20' carport on the front of my shop and they are damn bright!! Got them off of Amazon for like $120 ea. if I remember correctly

Do some searching on LED lights. You can get a dual strip, 8 foot LED light for $20 or less if you find them on Amazon. We have a local guy that orders a container load from China and sells them out of his shop for $20 bucks a strip. They are crazy bright.

x2. They're all over craigslist

The ones we just put in our shop are made by ETI solid state lighting. Model 50232162 Part number HB-171-850-MV-D i think we paid about $118 each 18,000 lumen.

Wouldn't happen to have the phone number to the guy who built your building JD?

Will pm you, however I am not sure how far out he will travel to build a building, depending on where you live. He stays busy locally.

Far from finished. You will spend as much on inside as you did for building.

Nah, not even close. Wiring will be around $1k, lights under $400, 2 garage door openers $700. Move all my junk in from the house garage and junk still at shop at my other property, and its all miscellaneous from there.

I dont do any heavy work, pancake air compressor and electric tools are all I need now, however I would like to add a large compressor later.

One first thing on the list is setting up the mancave corner. Used pool table $500ish, I already have an extra 40" flatscreen to put up, already have chairs, 12' work bench, etc from my old shop. I may end up building a few large wooden storage shelves, few hundred bucks there, but nothing substantial.

Looks good! Weren't you planning to partition part of the interior off for the wife?

Yes, will post pics of it when it is done, hard to explain how it will look. Basically a glorified curtain wall with gaps between it and the wall on each end (instead of installing doors), 8' liner panels, open from top of them to the ceiling. That added $810 onto final price. Shop as pictured minus dirt was $24,260 with $500 discount for paying with cash, divider wall adds $810 to that.

What's the difference in Adiding, Hyperlite, and all the other UFO lights? They all look like the same Chinese built **** that people put different price tags on.

Here's a listing for an 8 pack of 100w led high bays for just over $200....whereas all the other ufo lights are around $85-90 for a 100w each.

They're only 10k lumens, they are lower wattage than what's ideal for a 12ft plus hang height and they are 120v only.

The 150w ufos and hyperlites are 21k lumens, 10" diameter and can run on 120v or 250v

So by doubling the amount you have hung maybe you'll get the same light output. I dunno. I also wonder if you'd have to run 2 separate breakers on those 8 vs 1 breaker on the 4 hyperlites

Ordered some ufo lights, did not go with hyperlite or adiding, but with Meanwell? Got 2 150w to hang down center over the "work area" and 2 100w to hang down the right side - $294 for all 4. Interested to see the difference between the two. Won't need it bright as fawk over there on the right side as that will mostly be mancave area and bike/lawn mower parking.

Also bought a 4-pack of the Sunco 4 ft LED lights for the wife's side for $95, tax was charged, so a fuzz over $100.

I wasn't digging your super high pitch shop roof but seeing the big picture bricked and beside the house, it looks really good man.

Hopefully will have mine wired next week. Gonna wait on garage door openers. Need to get other **** done before worrying with them. Gonna get electrician to put up outlets near the garage doors, then do openers later. I can open and close all the doors fine as is, even the large door.
