Did you get everything straight with the commission?

Re: PlowBoy Xtreme Off-Road Nov 11-12 - Mega Trucks, Rockbouncers, & trails

Is there a park map of the trails or anything like that?
I didn't see an address other than columbia tn.

Re: PlowBoy Xtreme Off-Road - November 11-12, 2016

Trail riding question. I see where it says "all caged vehicles are permitted for trail riding". I have an XJ with no cage, yet, so curious if I'd be allowed to do the usual mild trail riding?

I don't mind coming down just for the events if a no go for trail riding, but just trying to figure things out.

Re: PlowBoy Xtreme Off-Road - November 11-12, 2016

Gonna try to make it Friday to just ride and check it out a little, anyone else?

Re: PlowBoy Xtreme Off-Road - November 11-12, 2016

Hate to see this got voted down again, the zoning is designed to do pretty much anything yet they still won't let an offroad event happen.

We have a similar issue with a motocross track up here. Rodney Sacks grew up about a half hour away from us and wanted to bring an once a year national motocross event. All he wanted to do is bring business and a fun weekend to a small town in northern Michigan. Zoning shut him down and he's been fighting it for years now. For anyone that doesn't know Rodney is the founder/ceo of Monster Energy drinks

From Ployboy Offroad Facebook:

We at PXOR are sad and surprised with the decision of the judicial system that was handed down tonight to us only 3 days before event. We are currently zoned M2, heavy manufacturing, which allows automobile, airplane, boat, and rail transportation factories along with rock quarries and ore smelting operations. This zoning category also allows recreational use as an accessory use. The park is 100 percent ready to go but without the approval of the County we have decided to postpone our event scheduled for this weekend till another date. We are working with the county officials on this issue but have chosen not to subject our friends and family to the protesting and the harassment which would take away our fun and yours.
I want you to know that I take cancelling this event seriously; I would be arrested if I had this event and put in jail for up to 10 days. I Richie Keith take 100 percent responsibility for all the inconveniences and blame no one else but me. I am sorry and never seen this coming. If there is anybody that it has cost money, I will make it right. Thank you for supporting us and hope you would consider coming to the park when we get the county satisfied.

Shut down before it even got going. That sucks. Good luck getting it straightened out. Better start throwing some money in the right pockets.

I was hoping maybe they would at least give him a 48 hour trial period for the weekend to see how bad it really turned out to be instead of just Slamming the door on him. If you Google Earth the location, it's not as though he is in not setting up camp in the middle of a school zone, he's out in the sticks, literally.
