Plumbed The Garage This Weekend

I have had a fairly large compressor in the garage, but I hadn't really plumbed it. I was running it off a quick disconnect at the tank. My kids gave me a hose reel setup for Christmas, so I got around to plumbing everything in this weekend.

I ran 1/2" copper. It is a pretty standard setup with the reel right above the tank. I did plumb in a regulator/water trap so that I can control the output pressure.

I also ran a line down to a quick disconnect at the garage door. Happily, everything held pressure the first time. I still need to put a few more straps on the line running to the garage door, but that will have to wait until I get the Trooper out of the way.

(No, I don't have any pictures).

That is really cool! take some pictures for us.

even though it does not appear to leak you should still test the joints with soapy water.

Actually, I am going to be out of town for a couple of days, so I have pressurized the system and then powered off the compressor. We will see what kind of holding power the system has when I get back.
