Ive decited I needed my own way to bend up parts so I did a little research and came up with this

I ordered up a Air over hydraulic 32 ton jack and when it gets here Ill make up a framework for it to hover over the press brake, heres the jack

most the stuff Ive been bending is 1/4" thick , under 10" wide , I made the bender good to 12"

also coming soon Im getting a plasma cutter, and will then build a CNC burn table for it

I bought one of the Swag ones at the swap meet last year, works very well and can bend 30" wide with my press. Troy showed bending up to 5/8" steel with his 20 ton press, that was about 2" wide.

I really been wanting to do a press brake like you did there for thick stuff, then building a more precise version like jeepos style for sheetmetal.

Why not just do air to hydro on the press? or just too slow/having to adjust for all the slop all the time? (not sure if this is hobby or business)
