No bling here, just 36 bolts to keep the bead on! These are 16.5s and I made an inner safety lip too. Being cheap is hard work!

not sure if it helps coning, or even what that is. I did it to be different and to decrease the plate deflection by offsetting the bolt pattern.

Newbie beadlock question, how would one go about setting up a set to avoid plate deflection.coning like this?

I saw some weld on beadlocks on ebay, cant remember the company, but they had a small 3/8" or 7/16" ring that would fit on the inner ring on the inside of the 32 bolts that would prevent it from coning

My old faithfuls with some new paint and hardware.... Only thing i will change to is 17" Aluminum to run some stickies.

The Buggy is getting a face lift before KOH

On pirate vendor section, there was a company that offered some rings with what looked like .250 standoffs to prevent coning. Can't recall the company but should be easy to find.

You can put a fan belt in between the inner and outer that will keep them from coning

I've did a set like this. worked fine, and let you tighten the bolts down good.

and it keeps the bolt area from holding mud and ****.
