Show off your trailer

I'll play i guess, I got alot of time and wire into this.

Dual Dexter 3.5K torsion axles 5x4.5 with electric brakes. (All common items you could find on the road). Electric junction boxes, 7 conductor wiring run through the frame, bullydog tongue. 205/75R15 Interco trailer tires. Fake beadlocks that were drop out rings from some h1 stiffners.

It's around 18' tip to tail. Best pulling trailer i've had so far.

Swivel jack points at all 4 corners, 3 jacks stay on the trailer at all times, one on the tongue and 2 for stabilizers i use to keep the rear of the trailer steady for loading unloading. It will also lift one side to change tires, or empty all 3 jacks can get the trailer completely off the ground front/rear.

Still to add tool boxes and integrated tie down straps for the wheels/axles.

I'm currently building me a low gooseneck trailer just for ridding but here is a few of my bumper pull . I put a cheap winch I could find on it an weled the bolts I redone the controller with a 3 way toggle switch an extension cord that way I can plug it together and if I need a longer controller I can just put a longer extension cord in between the two connections that way I can ride on the reg and pull myself.
I built a locking storage box where I put the battery an tiedowns
An I put extra tie downs in the floor . Built my drive over fenders with treadplate an .188 wall hrew.an put a step up the side

My next mod to this trailer is to go to the scrap yard an cut out the thing in the back of a truck that reals up the spartire an modify it to bolt in between the floor channels with a hole on the side to put the rod through so I can lower my spar .
An maby some load lights

This is a good idea that I'm going to look into. I can't figure out a good place to mount a spare anywhere on my trailer so underneath is probably the next best thing.

I've already put one under mine an it fit between the channels so it will work on mine . An maby won't get stolen :dblthumb:

That is cool! That's what I would build if I was going to build a trailer.

Needed a little more flat deck on trailer so I build these. Flips out of way for loading then fold them down and back up on them

Maybe a stupid question, but why not just let it sit on the dove?

Im a big fan of Aluminum! Problem is its hard to just weld attachments on cause you cant find aluminum accessories.

Re: Re: Show off your trailer

I guess my favorite idea has already been mentioned and I've yet to do it but welding a receiver somewhere on the trailer and then you can have a vice or all kinds of other just mounted on hitches (for lack of better words) so you have a place to work on something if your away from a shop and can interchange tools.. tool box is a must have for straps and junk as well

Re: Re: Show off your trailer

I do have 1question though.. does anyone have backup lights on their trailer ? I've though about it many times backing my trailer sometimes can be a real :afro: .. haven't really looked into it much but figured could use some jeep tail lights and just wire a extra plug or connector of some sort on the truck and trailer
