Going to be trying to Finnish up my hydraulic steering system tonight. I be never used this type of cooler before. With a tube type I need to keep the tubes horizontal. With this single pass finned type would it still need to be mounted horizontally? http://www.pscmotorsports.com/motorsport-specific-products/offroad/cooling-components/cooler-kits/single-pass-heat-sink-cooler-kit-12.html
If I can mount it vertical I'm going to keep the high end atleast level if not below the resivoir fluid level.

I appreciate your advice

Any reason why this won't work?

Yea won't fit anywhere close to the steering system not to mention I already have one like what's pictured in my link. I'm dealing with some crazy tight space because I'm keeping my radiator front mounted in an already small engine bay. I'd post a pic if I could figure out how from my phone.

I have the same single pass cooler. It is mounted vertical on my fan shroud. Never had any problems.
Thanks thats good to know. I see nowhere air can get trapped but pushing the volume of fluid up the cooler concerned me. Don't know why....
