Snapping u-joint straps

First off it's a 94 yj 2" lift and soa with d44 front and d60 rear. my problem is with the rear, due to the short wheel base, I have one hell of a pinion angle. I believe that may have something to do with me snapping u-joint straps. Does any one have a similar set up or has had this problem? Any info would really help. I snapped two sets of straps yesterday.

Axle wrap and straps. Been there and done that.

The front doesn't usually give trouble. The rear is the usual culprit. Are you having trouble with the front?

Yes, while you are there do one on the front also. Especially if you have a shackle reversal.

If you do a traction bar on the 60. Make sure you truss the housing itself. Traction bars are notorious for spinning axle tubes.

Man that **** was terrible. I highly suggest a good weld around the tube Atleast. Man that pinion shoots straight the FAWK up and snap!
