Superduty Axle Shaft Length

Google is not cooperating.
I'm looking for the long side inner shaft length for a 99-04 vs 05-up.
Plan is question is narrowing a 05 superduty front to to 63" wms to match a 63" 14 bolt. Life would be great if a 99-04 long side inner shaft (shorter?) used in an 05 axle. Would be enough to get get the overall mws close to 63"?

I have a 99-04 long side shaft I will measure and report back, mainly just need a 05-up axle shaft length.

You'll probably need to get a 78-79 Ford 60 long side inner to narrow it that much.

Or a custom length inner.

I'm showing almost exactly 46", maybe an 1/8" shorter. You may have to use the 05+ outers since it's only about 7" from the end of the stub to the center of the ujoint.

I know it would be a little bit of a drive for you, Hudlow axle in Chattanoga will cut and respline any axle you can come up with.

Yes Hudlowe does great work. He has done 2 rear ff axles, 2 fronts as well and a custom doubler shaft. The easiest for me to do would be sending he my long axle and having it done for $75. I agree.
