There are a ton of these being built on Pirate. Ambulance would have built in storage and could be retrofitted for small living quarters, but there are drawbacks to them. For instance they are usually driven hard and put up wet unless you happened upon one in cherry condition that you know is in good shape.

Personally I've driven lots of UHauls and they were all a beast to drive, felt like they had no power, and rode like a tank.

One thing to keep your eye on is insurance one these.

i got a buddy who owns a ambulance service so he could hook me up
could i insure it as a rv?

Nice connection to have. I foresee several long conversations with your insurance company to see what they will or won't consider at RV. I'd think there are a few on here that have actual experience. My experience on this topic is via web-wheeling.
