Transfer case gearing for rockwell buggy on 44's.

I was thinking about it last night after I asked. I'm going to upgrade the front output on my 205 and if I end up needing more gearing I'll pick up a Lomax case/gear set to replace it. Well this was helpful. Saved me 2k on my build Haha.

2.5 low range set will be your best bet. Its gonna make that 500 hp work to pull third but it will and she'll build some wheel speed.

Leave room to work on ****. Make sure you can easily drop pans, change starter/alternator/filters. Leave room to take whole driveline components out too.

I'm setting my whole interior sub structure up with flanges so if need be the driveline came come out from the top or the bottom.

Ya good point, my ol smith buggy is like a Swiss watch , everything fits so tight and has to be assembled and dissembled in a particular order , not as easy as one would think for a buggy , the 3 buggies I've built from the ground up have much more accessibility to components
