Don't use Jake's Transmissions out of Texas they're jerks and they blame transmission failure on the customer
I have a TH400 built by Maximum Transmission out of Hisperia California.
I run a 3000 stall and have had no issues, trans does what you tell it to and does it without question.
Compression braking in first gear with a reverse manual valve body.

I measured off all the tabs , everything measured the same. I got it put in this weekend. Everything seems to work nice. I definitely like the smaller stall.
