Ok I'm about to venture into a Chevy 350 swap into my 93 Toyota 4x4
I'm getting most if not all of my stuff from NW, but the next thing I don't know is how much of the OME will still work windshield wipers, Speedometer, oil pressure ECT. How much of this stuff will I have to rewire once the 22re has been ditched?

I did a 4.3 swap in my 95 4runner, had to use toyota oil sender, temp sender, to get correct readings at the dash, my OME speedo, just plugged right into the older style toyota t-case so there was nothing there. as long as you do a clean job when ditching the toyota harness you shouldn't have to mess with wipers lights and all the dash stuff. Hope thats helps.

Thanks Mike d I would do the 4.3 swap but I already have a 3/4 ton 4x4 and every thing works, but the body is well trash!!! So v8 it is I wish I could use the trans from the old POS it has a granny gear, but that's way more work then I think I want to take on.
And yes that was a big help. I'll post picks as I go:redneck:
