Zzzzz....
Buddy called me, said he had a buddy with a Toyota that just got destroyed in the woods. Said "I know a feller that knows somethin' about these things."
Here she is, 90-something Yoyo, stock everything, lift blocks rear, hacked up radius arm/HP D44 axle in the front. Even has the Yoyo struts suspending it.
Here's the radius arms, they stuffed the end in a 45'd piece of square tube, then proceeded to use 2x2x1/8" angle to make it even more ghetto. Then stuffed a bung and a cute little 3/4" dirt track heim in, and sheeted the whole thing with thin treadplate. They made a bracket by welding a nice Ballistic or such and such fab SAS kit tabs to what I'm guessing is a mix of 3/16" and 1/8" flat bar, then welding it all together with a stick welder with wet rods.
Stuffed a new TEMPORARY dirt track heim in the broke one-
I made a new bracket for the rear out of 1/4" flat bar and the old SAS brackets-
That's all I'm gonna do until he comes up with more money, I did this much for a 44 lb. spool of welding wire and still feel like I got fawked. There's lots more scary things on there needing fixed, like the front pinion has about 1/8" of play, build a longer front driveshaft, build the other radius arm bracket, build 2 new radius arms, and this-
