Top Truck Challange, 2012

No ya dont.

90 percent driver, 10 percent rig.

TTC on the other hand is 90 percent large rubber, 10 percent driver.

I do believe a good driver can go far. But without backing $$$ wise in parts and help a well outfitted driver can still outdo a good driver. Kinda like 2 identical rigs one with DOT tires and one with sticky's. A decent driver can still out perform a good driver with good tires on rock surfaces...

It still takes $$$ to keep a rig together...

Hmmm, one carbed, leafed, iroked, toyota comes to mind.

It was a reliable rig with LOTS of seat time. No surprises. He finished while TONS of hi dollar rigs with tons of support DID NOT.

I understand "finishing" is not very competitive, but its more competitive than NOT finishing.

Hey Tony, how did Toby do?
Toby did AWESOME. He had some cut boggers, that were beyond "cut", more like 'shaved' all the way to the cords, completely around the tire. Amazing tire. And he was a really nice dude. His 'Mini' buggy was wicked fast. Blazing speed thru the tank trap. Rumor and hearsay was it actually floated thru hole number 2.

All I have to say is it doesn't take money to have fun :awesomework:

The way I see it tony is a lucky sob.....the only TCC action I see is on e television.....

I asked Jeeptech1 to post pics, when he can. I ended up with only 2 pics on my camera, and that's of my ugly mug. If he can't, I should have a disc in a week or two, and I'll post / update this thread at that time.

There is some great vids on youtube that show Toby's tank trap run (record setting, including a flop) and mudpit run, and frametwister run.
