That Ford Guy
What's your preference and why? I'm leaning tube just to keep the weight down.

:corn:
Both plate and tube.
Best mix of design opportunities.
All I will say is, don't mount an upright behind a one hundred pound chunk of 1/4" plate.
Really? Darn it, I threw it all in the scrap pile :booo:That's the sweeeeet setup right there :awesomework:
UHH just passing time here but that outback guy seems to be on to something there. MY worthless suggestion would be to start with a warn winch plate ..like off a Jeep or for a jeep. very universal piece there. Then keep throwin pipe or tube at it till ya think it wont move anymore...within reason to weght! or capability of yer front suspension.. NO?
You couldn't hold the camera still? :eeek:That's what I did work's great..
imho if you start with a mfd. winch plate it will stick out too far and kill your approach ang, start with your own plate thats recessed as much as possible then work to the sides, tube or plate is more just a design preference i think, the both function, whichever flows with the design of your vehicle, whats the back look like? what are the rocker gaurds made of, rear bumper, i like a similar design throughout otherwise it looks scabbed together:beer:
