Whatcom county Snow Run...

As of yesterday there was no berm at twin lakes. dont know about today the next update I will get is tomorrow morning about 8 am.

That being said I think my buddies and I decided to go up slide. our plan is to head up there around 10 as of right now.

Kev and I talked and I think we may head that way too. elevation plus current snow conditions should make it perfect!:awesomework:

wish I could make it, but just havn't had the time to get my junk back together:mad: take lots of pics and maybe i will make it next run:awesomework:

sounds good I would head out earlier but my buddy has to do a water pump in the morning since he just found it wasn't pushing coolant after the last trip to walker. All the parts store are closed now. its a toyota so that should only take 30 min or so.

If you head that way we will see you up there im sure. hoping the snow is deep towards the top... just not by all the cliffs where my truck likes to try to become a sled. :D

What an Epic Day!!!
Just Andy and my self showed up for breakfast---His oldest girl came along, and my wife and daughter came as well! GREAT TIMES!!! :cheer:
A few of the better shots...

Today was good, I made it about 50 ft past where you guys did, I was still climbing just decided it wasnt worth beating on my truck that hard. At that point my 35's were had about 4" showing at the top of the tire and I was moving at about a mile and hour pushing a wall of snow.

Then there was Brandon who decided to try and out do you on the lower road... I know you already know about what happened there Kev.

I didnt get any pics but the other guys did. I will try to get some from them or get them to post them up.

County's small KP! :redneck: Good to meet you today-and thanks again for your Service! :awesomework:
It's just ironic--the comment made when asked if any of you guys had a winch...then about 2 hrs later I get a call from Eddy. :haha:

But I'm glad you guys are alright! :awesomework: Hopefully a lesson learned about being prepared ...I'm buying 2 belts today!!! :redneck:

Looks like you guys could have used a rig with some bigger meats today
Not sure it woulda helped much...The snow was like little styrofoam balls, didn't pack for sheit...I was glad we made it as far as we did, and we were still making good headway up until my belt started to shred--apparently it didn't like getting pounded with snow! :haha: That and who knows how old it was...
Time to make a snow shield/guard for it...:redneck:
