evans creek 8/5/07

here you go. Dosent say amything about being a parking permit. Its a forest use pass. Of course I wouldnt know anything about them since I was involved in their creation. Use it or dont, its your ticket not mine:haha:

Did you even LOOK at the image of the passes? Says vehicle parking right on them. :kissmyass: :fawkdancesmiley: The rangers will ticket you for anything, but if you don't contest it how do you know it's even legit. :rolleyes:

OK, you go ahead and take it to court. Let us know how you do:haha:

I love these threads...........

It says to display it in your rearview mirror.........so if I am on the trail wheeling and it is in my wheeler and I get a ticket on my tow rig which is parked in the ORV staging area.....it will get ticketed.....RIGHT? Because the pass is in my wheeler on the trail.:corn:

I call BULLSHIT.

My annual pass states it's for PARKING in areas that require a NW Forest Pass.:looser:

the old ones use to have a tear off tab at the bottom to carry in your wallet. I just have the number written down and I have never had an issue when asked for the pass. Personaly I dont care what you do. Just offering solutions to stay legal and avoid the possible ticket. If you like going to court for such things then more power to you:cheer:

how about you just go and if you get a ticket its your own damn fault and you cant say you werent warned.

I was just up there the weekend before last, both rangers and the local popo were there. Pretty much lecturing folks, but Pokey is correct about the pass, if you tow then the pass stays in the tow rig. If you drive in you need it with the rig.

Also, since I came out down the road, versus the trail, you must be street legal, my tire stick out 10" outside the body. They let me go since I trailered in, and had a blown rear transfer case seal.

erh? It's required only to park and leave a vehicle, unless you have official reference for this claim it's nothing but heresay. This rumor has been going around for years.
Three members from our club went on a run last weekend, and the Ranger stopped them, they had to go back to burnett and get one. It is heresay, the ranger here say it, so we do it. :;

who cares, take it to another thread. if totalled gets a pass, i will get a pass, if he says i dont need one, i wont get one. but zip sounds like he has the rght idea.

Well it's nice to know that they're twisting the rules in order to harass people. :rolleyes:

I'm there almost every week and know the rangers pretty good and I've sat with then as rigs are coming in and what they want to see is if you trailer in the pass stays with the tow rig. I drive in and keep mine on my dash

I said prove your accounting figures. I'd like to see that in writing. :;

happy now:eeek: Now go sit in the corner and dont argue with people that are smarter than you. LOL

Recreation fees increase the ability of managers to accomplish this work. Simply put, the majority -- 80-95 percent -- of proceeds from recreation fees goes right back into maintaining and improving the trails, land and facilities you use most.

Ouch... nice numbers :awesomework:

Thanks, I have been working with the FS for nearly 20 years as a volunteer and advocate for 4x4 use. If I make a statement on FS matters it is based on fact not opinion or speculation (unless stated of course)

apparently, thats not the point.:rolleyes: the point is that you dont have to have a pass to wheel at evans creek, but if you dont have one, you will get ticketed.:eeek:
