Up until the SB2, NASCAR rules were flat tappet. So 500 miles at WFO. So they can't be that damn bad. Plus my own personal experience of over a dozen flat tappets and have yet to smoke a lobe. I put the break in **** all over the lobes, fire that bitch up, get the timing close and hold it at 2k...

The guy i gave the cam to was trying to piece an engine together for a cab truck and needed a cam anyway. He didn't change valve springs but it was a hydraulic flat tappet and his springs were good enough. The cam was a 262h xtreme4x4. I actually have another one of those same cams in good...

I gave a friend a used comp xtreme 4x4 cam and he stuck it in a TBI 350 and did nothing else and it Ended up running pretty damn good imo

You do realize that you are supposed to use the other set of mounting bolts for this config, right? I'm talking about the set that goes around the input shaft. There's 2 side by side in each location for clocking purposes. Not being smart, just trying to make sure you are aware
