289c Caterpillar here. 2013 with 1500 hrs. been a good machine. I've heard a lot of not so good stuff about newer bobcats being "throw away machines" as one Mexican concrete guy told me.
I think you just block it off with a carb spacer that doesn't have ever port. Or I guess you could drill and tap for a pipe plug. That is what I think I would do.
Dug it out. It's a elderbrock performer 302. Part# 3721. It is used and little dirty but doesn't have any stripped holes or anything. If you want it I'll do $130 shipped to ya.
I try to do all the grinding and messing making stuff outside now mainly to keep shop cleaner and machining equipment in good shape. But I'm looking at the heated space. Also it's not gonna be for storage, but as an actual shop. A home shop but still a shop. I'm looking at doing a lean-to down...
Not to side track thread, but has anyone ever felt like they built a shop too big? I know it seems like a crazy ? But I'm looking at doing a 60*80 or a 60*100 with 20*60 on one end for living quarters.
If your interested I have pretty much everything needed to do this swap on a super duty truck. B ot sure what your working on, I was gonna preform the swap and the 2wd truck I sourced everything for eluded me.
