Same thing happened to Brent at Trail Tough. The manufacturer of their samurai cromoly axles took brents design and parts and started selling them to other vendors.

There is Glens welding in Lynnwood. they specialize in towing and fifth wheel hitches.

Check out Mclenddons or even lowes/ home despot. Look for pipe insulation, may not be as hard as that stuff but it still protects your noggin, and is cheap.

Well I have a welder at my house, and my dad has a good drill press at there place in lynnwood. after looking at that link I think it would be pretty easy.
