    Help with a diesel engine...

Thought Id give this one a try. Ive got a 4.2 liter normally aspirated inline six (two valve) toyota diesel in my land cuiser. AFTER I changed over to synthetic oil the engine started to "tick". This is the way it goes: I start the truck and it sounds very normal. Within two to four minutes...

brake update for a 85 toyota

IFS vented disks and four piston calipers are the way to go. THen move your front stuff to the back!!! You might consider an FZJ80 master cylinder in there as well. IFS is anything post 1985 if I remember correctly.

Rear Disc brakes for 86 Toy?

Ive got a samurai, but it has all Toyota running gear. I went with a set of IFS calipers and vented rotors up front, and took the stock front disk stuff and put in the back. It was easy for me as I went with a Front Range Offroad full floater kit at the same time that allowed for the mounting...

    ARB locker question

This is my third rig with dual ARB's and Ive always run them off the standard tank. Even when I had an air system set up for tires and tools I still used the ARB compressor. I liked that it was a stand alone. Ive always had good luck with them.
