My 65 c10 with a 283 v8 and 3 speed smokes in 2nd gear while crusing/loping along but stops when I shift into 3rd gear, while I'm getting on it, it doesn't smoke as bad on at all. I just installed new valve guide seals and that didn't fix it.Sometimes it doesn't smoke at all. Any thoughts ?

Lowered the front today.

Started working on the kids c10, pulled out the old rusty and rotted bed and then put some 5 inch lowering springs on it. Thinking about painting the wheels red.

I got these at lowes and they worked great. I screwed them in with a dewalt cordless impact with a #3 phillips bit.( not sure on the price )
