2005 GTO LS2 6.0 with Turn-Key Harness
The engine has less than 30,000 miles on it.
It has a comp cam that has less than 500 miles on it.
It should be well over 500 HP.
It is currently in my buggy, but I will be pulling it in the next week. I am selling because I am going to a 6.2 and a 6L80E.
Has Randy Slawson alternator bracket.

$6000

hmmm i would love to just pick this engine up but it falls a few months to soon . bought too many parts recently like this month. but really would if the time was right and the price. good luck its a super nice engine

Not bein a guber here, just wondering why go thru all that trouble and money for basically the same engine? im sure you got a reason

I'll explain what we were put up against here.A few months back Adam decided to swap from a Turbo 350 to a 6 speed 6L80e trans. The LS2 has a 24 tooth reluctor ring on the crankshaft. It takes a 58 tooth ring for a 6l80e trans to read right. We decide to sell the LS2 and get a LS3 that has a 58 tooth ring. Being told that this was the only way to run the 6l80 trans we found out a few weeks ago that Mast Motorsports has just came out with a $2000.00 harness that will read off a 24 tooth engine. This is a lot easier and cheaper to make it all happen now. If you do the math it makes sense.

LS2.................................................$3400.00 2 years ago
Turnkey harness and cam........$3000.00
90 mm throttle body.....................$300.00
Slawson alt kit...............................$300.00
Lokar cable and gas pedal..........$200.00
Total...............................................$7200.00

Sell all for $5500.00- $6000.00= LOSS

Then buy a LS3-Alt kit-Harness= $7300.00

So it's cheaper to keep the LS2 at this time.
Maybe this will explain the back and forth trying to get back to racing. Decisions,Decisions,Decisions
