----SOLD-----
2014 Wide Open Design buggy
Located in Springfield, MO
8-27-15 - I am adding another set of tires and wheels with the buggy. Forged Raceline beadlocks with polished outer rings and a set of nearly new grooved 43 inch non sticky swampers. I am not looking to sell these separately, they stay with the buggy.
This buggy hasn't left the shop since New Years Day and I don't see myself using it much in the next few years. I never planned on selling it, but I also planned on being able to use it a lot more. This is one of the nicest buggies in the country and it needs to go to someone who wants to run it.
I have owned several high end buggies and knew exactly what I wanted when I had this one built. I planned on owning it forever, so cost wasn't an issue. The buggy was built with the best of the best parts. No expense was spared and a lot of time and thought were put into the build and the parts used. I hate breaking and I also realized that if you are breaking parts every weekend you will eventually spend more than if you just bought the best parts the first time.
The price is $95,000.
The WOD roller, engine, transmission, transfer case and rearends cost more than that.
I will look at trades up to ½ of the selling price. Jeeps, buggies, RZR's, late model corvettes and diesel pickups would all be considered.
I can also take a credit card or cards on up to ½ of the selling price. The buyer will be responsible for the fee.
2014 WOD Chassis
– I am 6'3'', 200 lbs and fit safely and comfortably in this buggy with a helmet. Someone smaller can drive comfortably with no modifications.
2.5 inch links and 1.25 hiems all the way around, chassis is .188 with some .25 in the lower and outer rails
Mast Motorsports 440LSX – Just under 700 HP
PTC Turbo 400 with Reid case and all billet internals. This was the best they could build and at the time Ritchie Keith and I were the only one's running this transmission.
HERO transfer case 3.75:1 with Northwest Fab twin sticks
retubed Dana 80's front and rear, both steering with their own pumps and custom high capacity reservoirs. WOD knuckles and C's, RCV 2 inch 47 spline axles, RCV billet spools, Ouverson Engineering Super 8 hubs and spindles, Yukon 3.73 gears, PSC double ended rams, Wilwood brakes
Stazworks rear steer with return
custom built 1480 drivelines
Radflo coils and 2.5 bypass shocks all the way around. The suspension has been tuned by Wayne Isreal
(5) Raceline forged beadlocks with 43" stickies
Sway Bar
Warn 9.0 winch
Custom fuel cell with huge lines and Weldon Racing 700 HP fuel
Twisted Stitch Seats, PRP 3 inch padded 5 points
full aluminum skid
Lots of little stuff done to make the buggy safer and easier to maintain. The seats have larger brackets and are double bolted on each mount where they are welded to the chassis. 1/4 inch tunnel to protect from driveshaft injury. All wiring is sealed and waterproof, interior is rhino lined to make cleaning less of a chore.
I can be reached by phone at 417-299-2476.
