running ZJ with 6" lift, just wondering about width

I don't have any experience with zjs but I would run the 12.50s for sure. The 10.50s will look to skinny with 6" of lift. My best guess would be the 12.5 on some 8" wide wheels with as close to stock backspacing as possible, possibly even your stock wheels. The 12.5 will offer more flotation also. Just my 2 cents.

12.5s fit on 4.5 inches of lift with just a slight trimming on the plastic bumper, should fit fine on 6 inches, i would get wheels with 3.75 inches of backspaceing IMO
Is this a pavement princess or a wheeler or? You haven't told us how you drive yet.
If it's going to see mostly street time, I'd go with the 10.5s. It will handle better on the street, and when we get snow on the pavement, the narrower tire will dig to the pavement underneath that it can grip on instead of trying to float you across the top.
