42 MTR stickie

Has anybody in here run a 42 MTR stickie? How does it compare to other stickies?

I had the old style 40" mtr's and liked them a lot. I would love to get my hands on a set of 42s. I just never see them come up for sale.

I researched them like crazy for a while.... everyone says they are just as soft as reds, but the lugs wear much more quickly.... problem is, now that reds are $480 apiece, are treps & MT/Rs worth $1200 more a set?

I currently have a set of treps and Im probably going to put them up for sale so I can buy another set of reds. Treps say 40" and measure 38". They look like doughnut spares compared to my 42" pbr's.

I looked into those and iirc there is a pretty long thread on pirate about the sidewalls being kinda shitty on the new mtr's
