Im cleaning out my stock piles to try and fund my buggy.

Here is a 1967 Ford Galaxie Rear Axle
8.8 with a 2.80 gear. Brakes are good and rear was under my car up till a few months ago.
I had planned to use it under a Cherokee but plans change.
Link mounts and coil spring pocket on housing. Take very little to swap under a cherokee or wrangler.
It measures 64" from axle face to axle face.
$125

1997 Ford Explorer Factory Disc Rear Housing.
Its a bare housing.
$50

Id trade both for one suspension seat, or one 5 point harness, or ??? building a single seat buggy so I need a little of everything right now.

Thanks
Jason

While it looks similar to an 8.8 , unless someone stuffed a 1981+ 8.8 in that galaxie you have a WER ford rear end I believe it's an 8 3/4 or 8.5 ring gear. Not interchangeable with the newer f150 mustang Lincoln etc 8.8's

Thank you for the information sir. I wasnt 100% and it looked similar to a 8.8..
Its for sure a 67 galaxie rear end. Its a two owner car. My great grandfather and me.. =)

Thanks again,
Jason
