Thanks.

No, married with 3 boys; 2 step sons 11 & 16, and a 4 yr old of my own...

That's why it's not done yet, lol. I built my buggy in 5 months, single and no kids in 2010-11.

I feel your pain. This was the first year I had one ready and I had to work all day. By the time I got home it was all gone.

Like I've been saying. If you would just slow down and really put some time into the small things, it would turn out waaay different. Lol

Man, just a sweet freakin build. Love it

Again you gotta be single with no kids ?

No he is not. Has two kids for sure.

Beautiful build ! I love it, I also have been eyeballing the goatbuilt subframe. Very cool to see someone using one and doing a top notch build off of it ! :woody:

About one more day on the finishing the front axle. Had to plug the oil fill, will move it toward the center of the housing later.

Re:

Dumb question, are those weld washers on some of your bolt holes? I was gonna use some grade 8 washers to help reinforce my bolt holes but I buddy told me to use weld washers.

Yes, ordered them through Ruffstuff, they're 1/4" thick. You could do the same with a heavy washer or make some from plate. The thicker are a little easier to weld.

Thank you!

I still plan to lop the corners off and cap the upper link mounts like the rear, (I left that extra meat there cuz I wasn't sure how I would finish it out at the time. ). Also some plating on the inside of the upper mounts. Still need to cap around the shock mounts, plate the diff, and gusset the steering arms, (they have been torqued at some point).

I also got the bottoms of the bash tube supports plated and corner gussets done today as well.
