I am looking to see if there is anyone on here that hotshots or would be interested in picking up a truck for me. its in the Little Rock area, (72120) and Im in southern middle TN (38471).

Its a old square body crew cab with a short bed. Its a rolling chassis.

i currently dont have a trailer I trust to make the trip or thats really big enough to haul it. Looking to see if anyone can point me in the right direction or what it would cost. I know there was a thread on here awhile back but I couldn't pull it up.

Thanks, my contact number is 9313061580

You should expect to pay 75-85 cents a loaded mile, so about $250. They may hit you for a non-op fee of about $25. thumb.gif

I was told by a friend that got out last year that it would be .75-.90 mile, that may have been round trip.

But he quit because of DOT hassles, so it may be considerably more now.

When you haul multiple cars ou of an auction house they are sometimes that cheap but private customer picking up and dropping off at residences, yeah it's gonna be more...
Having a way to load it for the driver will often help... Forklift, jeep w a winch etc.

Prices are TODAY'S prices...... call any transport service or try USHIP

I have it done very often, not in volume, always one car at a time. Covered transport is less than $2 a loaded mile.
The carrier is not going to leave from your house to go get it :dunno: so no round trip charge :dunno:

There are a metric **** ton of carriers, just get a free quote on any website and you'll be emailed or
called more than you wish.

I bet you can get it done for $200 if time is not a factor. ;D

Re: Any HOTSHOT drivers on here? Looking at getting a truck hauled

My buddies old company out of MO quoted me 375. I figure that's not to bad considering it's just a roller and will have to be winched on, which I told them up front.

I had another local quote me .80 a mile, but I'm not sure if he ment both ways or one, since he was local to me.

I have never paid more than a $50 inop fee, the last few (10) have been $25-40.
284 miles x $ 0.85 = $242 + $40 inop===== $ 282 Total, if you want it ASAP

You can get it cheaper if willing to wait, all carriers want to fill loads or empty space, I40 is a common route.

BTW, the units I deal with are usually PORSCHES, which are lower and more difficult to load as well as carry the
stigma of a "rich man's car" I HAVE them shipped "INOP" (battery removed) to keep the jackass transporters from
actually driving them.

Got a local dealer to get an add up on the shipping website he uses. Charged me 30 buck for the listing.

Said he has had several hauled from Little Rock to here for around $150 which I couldn't believe, but that's what he started the add at. Said sometimes he got a response in minutes and sometimes a week, so we shall see.

A porsche is smaller and weighs less than a crew cab pickup...

They very often DO charge more for bigger vehicles...

I have no idea what my porche weighs, but its pretty big, I'm guessing several yards of stone and concrete :dunno:

Spelling fixed lol...

O/P.... How bout some pics of this truck.... 3+3 short beds are rare as hen's teeth.... Let's see what ya got.

I'll have to get one uploaded to the ol photo bucket acct, can't get my phone to post here.
They never built these factory, only came in lwb. This one has already been cut down, reason I wanted it.

it's just a roller, project a guy is selling. Its a factory 4x4 frame that's been cut and shorten about 18". Has an 83 C30 cab on it with d60/14bolt.
