Any knowledgable dry sump guys on here?

Putting a 4 stage dry sump on the Ls in my bouncer, question is, can you mount the oil tank in the rear of the buggy? Running out of room quickly in the engine compartment. Is that too far away from the pump for it to work properly? Are there any supposed rules to where it must be mounted? I assume closer is better but would it still work farther away?

Yes you can. Most race car tanks are behind the driver.
