Anyone have any inside info on this rape-age?

I may be wrong, but it used to be 10 years out before you could get the aftermarket keys. Haven't bought one since 05 or so. Might have changed since then.

Get a handheld VAG programmer it will come in handy ...you can check CEL and reset them ... you can probably program a key with one.....Twin Turbo cars can be a pain but they are fun to drive .

I just paid close to $1000 for 2 keys for my lincoln. Dropped the only 1 that came w the car in the trailers rear door and shut it on it, crushing it. Also had to pay to have the car towed to the dealership bc it had to be plugged into the computer for them to program it. **** new cars and their keyless bullshit.
