Kind of an odd off subject topic, but I just got a call last night my best friend was in the hospital having emergency surgery to remove a testicle because he found a lump and the specialist was worries it could be cancerous so they yanked it out that day. Done some googling about it because I wanted to know what's going on and the general consensus is that early detection is key to treating it and if found early there's a high success rate so take some time and check yourself from time to time so it's not too late. He's feeling real confident that he caught his in time but there's still test to be ran and he's decided he's not going to hide what's going on but talk about it and try to help others. Luckily he has a very good sense of humor and we've been making fun of the whole situation.

Ive had 3 balls as long as I can remember. Dr told me as long as it didn't hurt don't worry about it... I still worry about it.

Same situation for my BIL 2 weeks ago. 21 years old.

I think it's not talked about as much as it should be because people are embarrassed to lose a nut or two. Really hoping this goes as good as it can for him. He's one of those best friends that's more like my brother than a friend. Just gave his best man speech last fall and I want him to be around to give mine. He's expecting his first child in September so he ain't got time for this ****. Cancer ****ing sucks and doesn't seem to care what people have going on in their life.

I had a scare a few years ago when I had one enlarged and thought it was the end of the world and finally "Had the balls" to have it checked. Turned out to be a Testicular Hydrocele which was a fluid sac growing on the outside of a testicle. SIMPLE snip snip, drain and out I went. So just because you find something growing, doesn't necessarily mean the "C" word. Have it checked immediately and live another day to use them. :dblthumb:

Yeah I had a friend in highschool that found a lump on his at 16 years old. He had to have it removed and went thru chemo. Then one of my brothers college roommates went thru the samething shortly after graduating from college.

being married I try to make my make wife check me for lumps. It is a good excuse to make her play with my balls on a regular basis. :****: :cougar:

What does manscaping having anything to do with it?

One of my best friends just called me and said he just got home from the doc and having to have surgery Monday to get one of his nuts removed! What timing with this thread! Said he noticed a lump a couple weeks ago, then it got a little bigger, so he went to a Urologist and he said it needed to be out immediately that he was very worried about it.

I believe I'm gonna make a preventative checkup with a Urologist next week. I don't want some bullshit like this taking me down!

Sorry to hear about your good friend.

I developed a mass beside/on my left testicle about 7-8 years ago. It seemed to come up rather quickly. My wife who was my girlfriend at the time urged me to go to the doctor. They did an ultrasound test and turns out it was/is a cyst on the epididimus of the left testicle. Doctor said it is sort of common in heavy equipment operators. I never operated heavy equipment, but rode dirt bikes most of my life, then got into fourwheeling later in life. The doctor said leave it alone unless it gets bigger and bothers you. He said he had removed them both smaller and larger than mine in other folks. Well, 7-8 yrs later I still have it. It is mildly annoying at times. The mass is a little smaller than my testicles, so feels a bit like a third testicle in my sack.

Well you have to grab your bag and stretch that sombitch around to get a close shave on it. When you run a razor over it you'll find out if something's there that shouldn't be. Hope that answers your question.

I've shaved my balls a whole bunch of times and that never has involved rolling my nuts around to see if they are in any way misshapen. :wtflol:
