I say vote everyone of them out and start fresh! Who cares if it does take them 2 years to figure out what's going on, at least they will be out of our hair for a bit so the economy can fix itself

So what's next after Capitalism?
Capitalism made the U.S. the most free, most prosperous, strongest nation in the history of the world until the progressive movement of the early 1900s. Nothing wrong with capitalism if government would just get the F out of the way. If you like Obama's socialism, just take a look at Europe and you can see where we'll be in another 4 years....broke, riots, begging handouts from the Chinese and the nasty bad old capitalists of the U.S.

For the record I do not like Obama or socialism!!!!

Like separation of church and state.......Sort of a fallacy to a degree meaning church influences indirectly instead of directly now.........Capitalism and Govt go hand in hand to a degree in direct and indirect ways. So is separation of Capitalism and Govt needed or should we just revamp them as one?

China = cheap everything and they wait out the hands of time......just like building the wall or developing forms of martial arts..................sooner or later they will own a lot more than they do now.........we continue to feed there machine................as do others................we want things cheaper........we want higher salaries......we want big this and that, want not always need...........they do with little at least the common folks.........they will reinvest in other things (like the fall of other govt's; Greek govt etc.....or at least try)...........by the time............when the hands of time is right they will make there move...........we will suffer and be in a defensive posture instead of offensive.................

What we see in China and increasingly in the U.S. is the rise of what's been referred to as State Capitalism or crony capitalism. In my opinion and that of others state capitalism is nothing more than a modified form of Marxism. In China the means of production are owned by the government or by favored groups of individuals. The Chinese defense industry is a perfect example. It is almost wholly owned and operated by the Red Army. Profits go to the government and are redistributed to the public. In the U.S. GM and Chrysler are examples, Chrysler being owned now by the UAW and GM owned by the government. If Obamacare is allowed to stand, the entire health care industry will be run by the government. In the case of resources, the federal government has seized nearly two thirds of the land in the country, allowing bureaucrats and politicians to determine which resources are exploited and which are not through the granting of leases. Unfortunately we have not seen true capitalism in this country for decades.

Is state capitalism a bad thing? Many in the government now don't think so. They believe that state capitalism is the logical successor to true capitalism and free market principals. Like all socialist economic models however, socialism of all kinds miss out on one important factor: human nature. It is the nature of the species to be competitive, to provide more for my family, to invent something better than what is available, to improve on whatever it is that we come in contact with in life. It is just in the DNA of our species.

President Obama has already begun to see (whether he realizes it or not) the failure of the socialist model. Several times in recent months, he has complained in speeches about Americans being lazy or not innovative or "losing our edge". We are not the problem. Will you work 15 hours a day if the rewards of that work will be taken from you and given to someone who works 4 hours a day? Why bother pouring your soul into that invention if the government will take it away from you and you will not be allowed to profit from it? This is exactly the reason that China resorts to massive counterfeiting and industrial espionage, because there is no incentive for the common man to innovate and work hard when there is no reward for doing so.

Unfortunately, true capitalism and free market principals have been so degraded in the past century that our founders would not recognize the republic that they extablished. While leaving a meeting of the constitutional convention, Ben Franklin was asked by a woman in the street: "Mr. Franklin, what have you given us?" Franklin replied " a Republic, if you can keep it". We have justified Mr. Franklin's trepidation. The greatest nation in the history of mankind is on the verge of becoming just another footnote in history.
