ARB for a Dana 70
It was installed in a rear end, but it was never used. It has never had air ran to it.

I'm in the market for a used 70 ARB so I contacted their tech department to get a little info on the numbers you posted. Here's what they sent:

"That's an RD65 by our records.
http://www.arb.com.au/media/products/air-lockers/2-RD65.pdf

It's a Dana 70U 35 spline low speed carrier.
The 'D2071243' will actually be '02071243' from 2002, so it's our older style diffs, so be aware that we don't make parts for them anymore."

I don't post that to hurt a potential sale, just to give some info. I didn't edit anything out, didn't want to be accused of it. Some people specifically look for these older style ARB's because they believe they are stronger and you don't have to route the air line around the ring gear like you do with the newer style. Sadly, I need a high speed carrier so this won't work for me. If it was a high speed carrier I would seriously consider it even despite it being the old style.

Any chance you can measure the deck height on that ARB for me?

Yep I'll get it for you soon as I get home this evening .
Thanks for the info on it .

this axle and ARB would be perfect for someone wanting to run super low gears 5.86/6.17/7.17... thumb.gif

If I didn't have too many projects going already I'd pick it up for my pipe dream street-trail Tacoma build...

Merry Christmas, any luck with that measurement?

It's the 2-7/16.

I didn't know if a 70u carrier was any different than a 70. I was hoping your measurement would be less than that but alas, it appears 70u carriers are the same as 70 as far as deck height is concerned. Thanks a lot for checking for me.
