DOM AND HREW Pricing ???

A Buddy of mine is gearing up for a Build for the new year. My question is what is everyone paying for 1.75 x .188 Wall DOM Tubing and 1.75 x .120 Wall HREW and where are y'all getting it from.

We are located in Georgia but we are looking all over for the Best Price

.120 erw is about $1.50 and .120 DOM is under $3 if I buy 10 sticks. I have an account that I buy a fair amount on though

I been getting raped I payed $5 ft for 1.75" .120 hrew. I had to buy a whole stick to get about 3'

I've priced out 1.75 x .188 Dom down here at a few places and I'm getting quoted anywhere from $9.50 to $10.50 a foot and haven't found no where as of yet that even knows what hrew is

That's which having accounts at these places I'm checking

1.75x.120 dom is under 3/ft and .188 dom is a little over 4/ft a couple weeks ago thru ryerson

I buy through harbor steel, 1.750x .120 hrew is $1.70 foot, and 1.750x.120 DOM is $3 a foot. I have to buy 120' at a time for these prices, it's about .30 a foot higher if I dont Haven't bought any .188 wall.

If they don't know what hrew is you need to run. You have 1 1/4" schedule 40 (0r 80) which will measure 1.660 on od, You can also get "tubing" which is a welded pipe but it will be on size like dom will be, Then just straight dom. If you're looking to save money put the pipe or tubing in non critical areas, and dom in critical areas. Just remember that pipe is measured on Id and tubing and dom is measured OD. I get pipe for around 35 a stick and tube is around 40 a stick and dom is around 70 a stick, this is 24' lengths tho.

Prices in south Carolina have been around $5 per ft for 1.75 120 DOM and $2.50 per ft on same size hrew. 2" x.25 wall DOM has been around $8 per ft. Not sure on 188 but I'd assume $6-6.50

Bought thru My companies account with Ryerson, 1.75 DOM .120 wall $2.25/ft delivered. That was for 80' cut in 10ft sticks.

I was quoted with a new account last week for 1.75 x .120 wall DOM at $3.44 a foot that was ordering 200' of tubing and $1.41 for 1.75 x .095 wall ERW they said they didn't offer anything over .095 Wall in ERW and didn't offer HREW

Well Ryerson tells me they don't have or offer 1.75 x .120 Hrew only .095 wall. I've called 3 steel Companies here in ATL and all of them are telling they can only get either 1.5 or 2" HREW in .120 wall surely there stupid or is it that hard to find 1.75 x .120 wall. Anyone have any ideas around the ATL area??
